In an election held during the 2015 Catholic Health Assembly in Washington, D.C. on June 8, Robert Henkel, FACHE, president and chief executive officer, Ascension Health, and executive vice president, Ascension Health Alliance, was chosen vice chairperson/chairperson-elect for fiscal year 2015-16. He will lead the CHA board in fiscal year 2016-17.
Elected to new, three-year terms on the CHA Board were:

Rodney F. Hochman, MD, president and chief executive officer, Providence Health & Services, Renton, Wash.
Andrea Mazzoccoli, MSN, MBA, Ph.D., FAAN, senior vice president & chief nurse executive, Bon Secours Health System, Marriottsville, MD.
Sr. Catherine O’Connor, CSB, Ph.D., vice president mission and sponsorship, Covenant Health, Tewksbury, Mass.
Sr. Patricia Rayburn, OSF, sponsor member, Sisters of St. Francis of Penance & Christian Charity, Redwood City, Calif.
CHA's board consists of 24 trustees, including Sr. Carol Keehan, DC, CHA president and chief executive officer. In addition, Rhonda E. Mueller, CHA senior vice president, finance and operations, serves as Corporate Treasurer, and Lisa J. Gilden, JD, CHA vice president and general counsel, serves as Corporate Secretary.
The board’s role includes developing CHA’s strategic direction, ensuring CHA’s fidelity to its mission, stewarding CHA’s resources and performing other governance activities to support and strengthen the Catholic health ministry in the United States.
