As we look ahead to the rest of the summer, we’re pleased to share the latest news and accomplishments from across the Sisters of Charity Health System and our ministries. In this latest newsletter, you’ll find:

  • Goodwill’s launch of a $40 million Opportunity Center capital campaign at the St. Vincent Charity Health & Healing Hub, bringing jobs, groceries and vital community services to Cleveland’s Central neighborhood.
  • 36 Hines Trust Nursing Grants of $5K each issued through the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland.
  • Sisters of Charity Foundation of Canton announced $632,127 distributed in grants in Q1 and Q2, which were awarded to multiple organizations that address the needs of the poor and underserved.
  • Ministry updates from Joseph & Mary’s Home, Light of Hearts Villa and Regina Health Center.
  • Early Childhood Resource Center bringing together more than 170 educators and advocating for Ohio’s youngest learners.
  • South Carolina highlights, including Healthy Learners, the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families, and the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina’s work to advance health equity.
  • 175th anniversary celebrations, including a community prayer service honoring the enduring legacy of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine.
