The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina awarded 100 grants totaling $877,000 to nonprofit organizations working to reduce poverty in South Carolina. This year’s grant recipients serve all 46 counties in South Carolina, and many of these nonprofits provide services across the state.
Since 1996, the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina has awarded more than 3,300 grants to South Carolina nonprofits, which total more than $83 million.
“The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina is proud to announce our grant support for organizations that are driving positive change across our state” said Donna Waites, president of Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina. “We understand the profound impact these organizations have in addressing the needs of our communities and look forward to working alongside them to create a more prosperous future for all South Carolinians.”
