Catholic Community Connection
Marian Rubin is the President of Catholic Community Connection. Prior to joining Catholic Community Connection, she served as Development Director for Jesuit Retreat Center and Director of Development and Stewardship for St. Barnabas Church within the Diocese of Cleveland. Marian has also served as an adjunct Professor for John Carroll University.
She has spent time in the for-profit sector, working for CIGNA HealthCare Corporation, Lifeline Screening, PlanSoft Corporation, and BP America.
Marian holds an Executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management, and a B.S. in Design from the University of Cincinnati. She served two terms on the Board of Catholic Charities and is an Associate to the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine. She served on the steering committee for the Loyola Club for 5 years. She was President of the First Friday Club of Cleveland and has been a Trustee since 2022.
She and her husband Marc live in Brecksville, Ohio and are long time Parishioners of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church.

Joseph & Mary’s Home
As Joseph & Mary’s Home’s executive director, Anna Stormer oversees strategy, operations and program excellence. With the support of community partners and the Sisters of Charity Health System, her focus is on ensuring vulnerable neighbors have a safe place to recover, stabilize their health and move forward with dignity.
Stormer has 18 years of nonprofit leadership, resource development and program oversight experience. Prior to her arrival at Joseph & Mary’s Home, she served as vice president at a national financial institution building pathways out of poverty. Earlier in her career, Stormer worked with individuals navigating complex medical and behavioral health needs.
She holds a master’s degree in clinical counseling with a specialization in trauma therapy from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, and a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in African American studies from Ohio University.

Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina
Donna Waites serves as president of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina. In this role, she leads the Foundation’s statewide efforts to reduce poverty through action, advocacy and systems change. She also provides executive oversight and supervision of the Foundation’s two South Carolina ministries — the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families and Healthy Learners — working closely with their leadership to strengthen impact, accountability and mission alignment across the state.
Donna began her career with the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine in 2000, supporting fund development for Healthy Learners. She later helped establish the Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals Development Foundation, serving as director of philanthropy. In 2015, she joined the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina as program director, advancing to vice president of programs before being named president in 2022.
Under her leadership, the Foundation focuses on long-term, systemic solutions in housing security, economic mobility and health access, while remaining rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and the Sisters’ mission to serve those most in need. Donna works collaboratively with nonprofit partners, funders and community leaders to address structural barriers to opportunity and improve outcomes for families experiencing poverty.
Donna holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Columbia College. She also earned a Certificate in Finance Essentials from Duke University and is a Change Leaders in Philanthropy Fellow through Grantmakers for Effective Organizations, a Riley Institute Diversity Leadership Initiative Fellow, and a member of the Blue Ridge Institute.
She serves on the boards of MUSC Midlands, the South Carolina Association for Community Economic Development, SC Grantmakers Network, Healthy Learners and the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families.

South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families
Since 2022, Karriem Edwards has served as president of the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families. Under his leadership, the work of fatherhood throughout the state has increased and impacted more fathers, accentuating his banner, “Serve More Dads Better.” Seeing double-digit growth in the impact of key programs and services offered to dads, Karriem has established leadership training programs, financial accountability and management policies, and innovative fundraising initiatives that provide a foundation to equip the Center’s five regional fatherhood partners and, ultimately, transform the lives of thousands of fathers and children every year.
Previously, Karriem held the position of vice president of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County in Florida. He is a philanthropic leader with more than 25 years of proven success in program development, training, management and fundraising. Karriem has an enthusiasm and drive to carry his nonprofit experiences to the realm of fatherhood programs and engagement. He is a graduate of Florida A&M University and the Social Enterprise Institute at Harvard Business School.

Regina Health Center
Deacon Mark Yantek received his license from the State of Ohio as a Nursing Home Administrator in 1994 and has served facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. Since 2013, he has been the executive director of Regina Health Center in Richfield, Ohio. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Borromeo College of Ohio. Mark has been committed to excellence and integrity in senior living throughout his career. He is deeply passionate about creating a homelike, engaging environment for residents and empowering clinical teams to provide compassionate care. Under his leadership, Regina Health Center is known for high quality and a focus on resident and family satisfaction. Mark was ordained as a deacon in the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland in 2018.

Light of Hearts Villa
Breanne Cavileer serves as the executive director of Light of Hearts Villa, a faith-based senior living community offering assisted living, memory care and respite care in Bedford, Ohio. This community, which is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System, benefits from Breanne’s extensive leadership experience in senior care.
Previously, Breanne held the position of executive director at Elmcroft of Medina, where her leadership resulted in two consecutive deficiency-free surveys and high associate engagement scores. Prior to that, she served as executive director at Emeritus at Canton and as administrator at Rudwick Manor Special Care Center.
With over 20 years of experience in skilled nursing and assisted living facility management, Breanne holds licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) and certification as a Dementia Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health from Ohio University, with a minor in psychology and a concentration in gerontology and long-term care management.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Breanne is busy as a mom of two. Family activities, including gymnastics classes, baseball games and Boy Scouts events, form the cornerstone of Breanne’s life. When she’s not engaged in family activities, she enjoys reading, spending quality time with loved ones and exploring new destinations through travel.

Healthy Learners
Derek serves as executive director of Healthy Learners. He assumed the role in September, 2025. Previously, he was chief partnership officer at South Carolina First Steps, where he managed an annual budget of $28 million and led a statewide team to support high-quality early childhood programs. His previous experience includes leadership roles with AARP Foundation, the Corporation for National and Community Service, and Heifer International, where he developed strong expertise in community partnerships, volunteer engagement, and program development.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Derek earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and is a Certified Volunteer Manager.

Early Childhood Resource Center
Angela Moses serves as executive director of the Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC), a Canton‑based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and improving the quality of early learning experiences across Northeast Ohio. She assumed the role in October 2023, following more than two decades of progressive leadership within the organization.
Angela began her career at ECRC nearly 25 years ago and has advanced through a range of leadership positions, including director of professional development and SPARK replication, director of early care and education services, and assistant executive director. Throughout her tenure, she has played a central role in strengthening child care quality, expanding professional development, supporting workforce initiatives and overseeing large‑scale grant‑funded programs across multiple Ohio counties.
As executive director, Angela leads strategic planning, organizational growth, community partnerships and mission alignment, guiding ECRC’s work to support parents, caregivers, early childhood professionals and young children across six counties in Northeast Ohio. Her leadership emphasizes collaboration, quality improvement and community‑driven solutions that ensure children enter school healthy, prepared and ready to learn.
Angela brings more than 30 years of experience in early care and education as a program director, trainer and systems leader. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, and is recognized for her expertise in grant management, staff development, professional learning systems and family engagement strategies.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Angela is a graduate of the Leadership Ohio Class of 2024, a statewide program recognizing leaders shaping Ohio’s future. She also serves on community boards and volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem/CASA, reflecting her deep commitment to children and families both professionally and personally.

Cleveland Central Promise NeighborhoodSisters of Charity Health System
As the program director for the Cleveland Central Promise Neighorhood program, Catondra has been leading the transition of the program’s work to focus on addressing the social drivers of health for Central neighborhood residents. Key aspects of the program include supporting PreK-8th grade students and their families at Marion-Sterling elementary school, investing in neighborhood-wide programming and measuring effectiveness. Her efforts center on collaborating with partners to develop and implement strategies that encourage a healthy and thriving community.
Catondra has extensive experience in community building and planning as a community-focused leader with organizations around the country. Most recently, she held the position of assistant executive director at Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation in Cleveland. There, she was responsible for planning and implementing policies, implementing community-enhancing programming, securing grant funding, developing budgets and more. Previously, she was manager of strategic planning and development for the VIA Metropolitan Transit Authority in San Antonio, Texas, and mass transit administration planning manager for the District Department of Transportation, Washington D.C.

Rosary Hall, outpatient SUD services
Throughout his career, Ben has championed the development of integrated care models that bridge behavioral health with primary and social support systems. With more than 10 years of experience in mental health and addiction care, Ben is a recognized leader in advancing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented systems of care that address the complex needs of individuals and families affected by mental illness and substance use.
At Rosary Hall, he has played a key role in expanding access to evidence-based treatment, implementing community-driven strategies and fostering collaborative partnerships with public health organizations, advocacy groups and local government. He works to reduce stigmas, promote health equity, and ensure that underserved and marginalized populations receive compassionate, high-quality care.
In addition to his work as executive director, Ben frequently speaks on topics such as behavioral health integration, addiction recovery, health system transformation and workforce development. He received a Master of Social Word degree from Cleveland State University and is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).

Ed Wensing is director, information technology. Ed has been with the Health System for 23 years, serving in a variety of information systems roles and as director since 2019. Most recently, Ed successfully led the monumental relocation of the data center from St. Vincent Charity Medical Center to Mary’s Home—a complex planning effort completed on schedule with all systems and services fully restored within four days. Throughout his tenure, Ed has contributed to several key technology initiatives. In his current role, Ed oversees daily IT operations and has responsibilities in budgeting, staffing and evaluating IT services.

Sisters of Charity Health System
Melissa Rogers serves as the senior vice president/chief financial officer for the Sisters of Charity Health System. She joined the Health System in 1996 as controller and became CFO in 2011.
In her role, she oversees all financial aspects of the Health System and all ministries, including financial reporting, budgeting, treasury and investment functions, insurance, payroll, audit and tax reporting. She is also responsible for human resources, information technology and facility management. During her tenure, she has supported multiple Health System operational transitions.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. She represents the Health System on multiple ministry boards. She and her husband Thom are active members of St Ambrose Church.

Sisters of Charity Health System
Mark Cotleur joined the Sisters of Charity Health System as senior vice president for fund development in 2018. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing fundraising on behalf of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, Regina Health Center in Richfield, Light of Hearts Villa in Bedford, and six outreach ministries in Ohio and South Carolina.
Cotleur brings to the Sisters of Charity Health System more than 25 years of experience as a senior leader and fundraiser. Most recently, he was vice president of development at Summa Health, where he participated in the attainment of the two largest gifts in Summa’s history.
Previously, he served as director of development for the University Hospitals (UH) Seidman Cancer Center. In this role, he secured $20 million in philanthropic commitments to advance capital, program and research initiatives for the health system. Throughout nearly 14 years at UH, Mark led the fundraising effort to build the new cancer hospital and played a key role in the success of the $1.5 billion “Discover the Difference” campaign.
Mark has also held management positions in fundraising with Boston’s Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Theological Ethics from Marquette University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Philosophy from Borromeo Seminary College. A native Clevelander, Mark lives in Broadview Heights with his wife, Mary Elizabeth, and their two daughters.

As senior vice president of mission & ministry, Miguel Chavez, DMin., oversees continuing integration of the philosophy and values of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine into the daily operations of the Sisters of Charity Health System and all of its operating units in Ohio and South Carolina. His areas of responsibility include mission formation; leadership development; ethics; pastoral care; palliative care; and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
Chavez previously served as director of the Office of Missionary Discipleship for the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. There, he was responsible for visioning, planning, creating and implementing programs and supportive processes that promote a culture of missionary discipleship in the diocese. He held this role from 2020 to 2022. He served from 2004 to 2020 at Walsh University in the positions of vice president for mission implementation, director of campus ministry, assistant director of campus ministry. He has also been an adjunct professor of theology at Walsh University since 2007.
Since joining the Sisters of Charity Health System in July 2022, Chavez oversees efforts to ensure the decisions, policies and programs of the health system and its family of ministries across Ohio and South Carolina are consistent with the mission, philosophy, faith obligations and values of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, as well as the elements of Catholic identity and the social teachings of the Catholic Church.
Chavez holds a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management, master’s degree in theology with an emphasis on lay ecclesial ministry, bachelor’s degree in theology and bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry – all from Walsh University. In 2025, Miguel earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Saint Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology.

Deb Miller, SHRM-CP serves as vice president, human resources for the Sisters of Charity Health System. Deb has been with the Health System for 26 years in various human resources roles, first starting in human resources with St. Vincent Charity Medical Center. Her role transitioned to manager of human resources with the health system in 2015 and most recently as vice president of human resources in 2025. Most of her career has been in healthcare, with prior experience in eldercare and for-profit business. Deb oversees the human resource operations of the system working with our ministries and foundations in Ohio and South Carolina.

Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine
Sister Judith Ann is a member of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine and has served as its congregational leader since July 2013. Prior, she served as president and CEO of the Sisters of Charity Health System from 1998 – 2013. The health system is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, serving Northeast Ohio and South Carolina. In that role, she led the sponsored ministries of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, including state-of-the-art acute care hospitals, services to the elderly, three grantmaking foundations, and community outreach ministries to meet health and human service needs. She began her health care career in 1962 and has served as a pharmacy technician, pharmacist and health care administrator. She led hospitals in Canton, Cleveland and South Carolina. As a member of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine since 1964, she has been a strong advocate for increasing access to health care for God’s poor. She previously served as major superior of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine from 1993 – 1997.
Sister Judith Ann is a board member of the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina and the Sisters of Charity Health System. She currently serves as chair of CSA Health System Ministries, the members of the Sisters of Charity Health System. She is a Life Status Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on the boards of hospitals and health care since 1973. In addition to involvement in the Sisters of Charity Health System entities, she has served on the boards of the Catholic Health Association, including serving as its chair in 2015, the Greater Cleveland Partnership, the Detroit Shoreway Community Development Corporation and the Center for Health Affairs in Cleveland.
Her past numerous community involvements include receiving the Cleveland Heritage Medal in 2023, serving as a lector at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church in Cleveland, the Midlands Business Leaders Council and being a Stokes Senior Fellow. Previous board service to health care organizations include The American Red Cross Cleveland Chapter, University Hospitals of Cleveland and Columbia HCA Healthcare Corporation. She also served on the Board of Walsh University in Canton, Ohio, for more than 12 years and now is trustee emeritus.
In June 2018, Sister Judith Ann was the Inductee of the Ohio Hospital Association Health Care Hall of Fame for her extraordinary contributions to the delivery of health care for Ohioans. She was the first non-physician or dentist to receive the Health Legacy Award of Cleveland in 2015. In September 2013, she received the Sam Miller Goodness Award from Project Love. In 2012, she was bestowed the Humanitarian Award from the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio and received honorary induction into the Sigma Beta Delta Walsh University Chapter of the Business Honorary Society. Additional honors include the 2011 Community Health Champion Award from Care Alliance Health Center and in 2008 the Order of the Palmetto, the highest civilian award from the State of South Carolina. In 2007, she received from Pope Benedict XVI the Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice honor and from Bishop Robert Baker the Caritas Award for Service to the Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina.
In 2006, Sister Judith Ann received the Distinguished Service Medal from Walsh University and earlier the Ohio Hospital Association Distinguished Service Award. On May 20, 2002, she was awarded an Honorary Degree, Doctor of Humane Letters, from Ursuline College of Cleveland and was commencement speaker. Sister Judith Ann received the Crain’s Cleveland Business 2001 Women of Note Award; the Distinguished Women in Healthcare Award from the Visiting Nurse Association/Healthcare Monitor in 2000 and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from The Ohio State University Health Services Management and Policy program in 1998. In 1971 she was inducted into the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society
Sister Judith Ann received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Duquesne University and a Master of Science in Hospital and Health Services Administration from The Ohio State University. In 1998, she completed a sabbatical at The American College, Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. She is a 1986 graduate of Leadership Cleveland.

Michael Goar became president & CEO of the Sisters of Charity Health System on July 22, 2024. He also serves as president of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland. With more than 25 years of leadership experience in the non-profit and education sectors, Goar most recently served as President and CEO of Catholic Charities of St. Paul-Minneapolis, where he partnered with the board to develop a strategic plan, identify new revenue streams, and establish a $50 million reserve fund. Previously, Goar was CEO for Big Brothers Big Sisters in the Twin Cities, leading a $10 million capital campaign and growing the organization from serving 2,000 to 4,500 children. His accomplished career also includes leadership roles with Minneapolis Public Schools, Boston Public Schools, and Memphis City Schools.
