Our Story

The Sisters of Charity Health System, rooted in the faith-based legacy of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, is a beacon of hope, collectively serving more than 1 million people per year. With a mission to uplift individuals, families and communities, we provide services that heal the whole person, such as support for children and families, care for older adults, addiction medicine, meal and produce services, and outreach programs across Ohio and South Carolina.

Ministries, Programs and Initiatives

Every day, individuals and families facing health and economic challenges turn to our ministries, programs and initiatives for support, hope and opportunity. Together, these efforts advance the shared mission of the Sisters of Charity Health System through health care, education, philanthropy and community development.

Rooted in the values of faith, service, compassion and justice that have guided the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine since 1851, our collective work strengthens communities and empowers people to thrive.
